Celebrate. Illuminate. Elevate.
The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strives to foster an academic and work environment that truly promotes a greater sense of belonging for all stakeholders. Through intentional programs, resources, training opportunities, mentoring endeavors, community engagement opportunities, and student initiatives, we provide strategic leadership and administrative oversight in developing and enhancing efforts to create and sustain a culture that embraces, promotes, and prioritizes equity, diversity, and inclusiveness in the broadest meanings for all staff and students. We aim to both facilitate and share best practices for enhancing inclusivity, engagement, and cultural competence across UTIA including at the 10 AgResearch and Education Centers and 95 UT Extension county offices across the state.
